Don’t forget to review your weather data when filing insurance claims.
In June 2022 we had a little microburst come off the lake. It was just enough, and at the unlucky angle, to remove my aluminum patio roof.
The insurance company investigated for fraud because there were no hurricanes or confirmed tornadoes.
I provided weather station data and security camera footage to collaborate the claim, and then had no issues.
