I’m still having issues with my Mac. In between the main screen being frozen, it appears to grab data, but in reviewing the logs, it seems to grab hours 0-4 over and over again. The rest of the hours correspond to the times I physically have the program running. I’m just wanting to be able to run this program on my Mac once or twice a day, update the historical data without a hiccup, and present daily min/max as well as any updates records. Is there anyway to do this? If so, can I get a step by step on how? I’ve tried setting things up as described and it is still doing things strange with the log and I’m still missing hours of data everyday. My location is Watsonville, CA. Time zone is pacific time with daylight savings in effect.

you should get the cloud data as long as you have entered the station ID (i.e the number that shows up for your stations data at weatherflow web site)

its a bit tricky using time zones on a mac and to get UTC time etc (compared to windows anyway)
did you change the time zone hour in the sun moon rise/set ?
also make sure you are using the latest version

Yes, I have it set to 7 in time zone and I am using the latest version from the site
what do you see under view, debug info? (after WD gets the history data)
also make sure the switch is on under control panel, data logger
I have fixed a bug where the data history was repeated so grab a new update of the mac version
I downloaded the new version (build 352) and it seems to grab data, but I’m not sure it is grabbing all the data still. This is the debug info. It is currently 5:11 pm here. It shows no info grabbed after 1:31 am this morning if I am reading this right:

Thank you for the help! Seems to be working great now!! Doing exactly what I had been looking for it to do.
It worked great last night, but back to issues again. I turned off the computer and now when turning it on, it is trying to gather data for about 12 hours. The main view display is once again not displaying current conditions and the clock is frozen.
build 354 of WD mac version has the live data updating nicely now from UDP data
Main screen still shows as frozen with the latest download. Debug info shows nothing on weather flow history after 1:03am. It is currently 3:39pm.
re the history data…I have tested for short periods (eg a few hours)
but for say 24 hours…something gets out of whack and out of sequence
so I need to figure that out…will work on that tomorrow
but live data should work OK…is there data showing in the separate running cronweatherflow program?

Looking at the Mac version, seeing a few hiccups, the most prominent I see is that I’m getting rain on WD when there is none. Posted this over at the Weather Forums too.
Morning - Just wondering what the ‘use calculated rain’ is in the WD settings.
My tempest recorded 4.39mm today (way out as the local readings and my Vue were all around 13mm - another conversation) but WD read in a massive 42mm. I did not have ‘use calacated rain calculated’ but not sure why it read so high.

I see superlative positive sentiments about Weather Display in the Weatherflow forums and, sadly, expect that I’ll always be sitting on the sidelines because I’m running a Chromebook which, unlike machines running Windows or Mac or Linux OSes, does not presently allow for the installation of arbitrary software (like Weather Display), only Chrome extensions (and possibly Chrome apps which, to me, seem very similar to Chrome extensions and I don’t even know if the big G supports such things any more. Anyway…).
Fortunately, almost everything I need to do with a computer can be done in a (Chrome) browser, so I don’t have a plan to leave my Chromebook. Given that, does there exist (or there are future plans for) a browser-based version of Weather Display?

My weather display for Mac is back to freezing during startup and never updates the archived data. It just sits frozen (for hours if I let it). Build 355.
You can run Linux on a Chromebook so the Linux version should be able to be made to work or you.
