Wind Offset setting

Just stumbled on the wind offset setting in the advanced settings. Does anyone know how it works? (i.e. does it add or subtract?) I know my station is a little off north because I ran out of hands to tighten and hold the pole at the same time when I installed it!

perhaps change it during a more or less steady winddirection by 90 degrees and you’ll know.

You determine the direction that the Sky is actually sited. Instead of North it is actually at 5 degrees.

You want to set the offset to -5.

If it is at 350 degrees, you set the offset to 10.

I hope this helps you.

Just used this setting to adjust one of my two side by side rooftop Sky’s. Works great!

Correct. The value in this setting is simply added to your raw direction.
