I have a Tempest in the post and wonder what the average time to get UK destination is? On tracking it’s been to various stops in FL and left Miami Int this afternoon (4th Dec) BUT not sure if that means it has left the US. Service is USPS. Just working out a schedule in UK as I don’t want to be Out of Area around anticipated arrival. Patience is a virtue!
I can tell you there is no regularity at all. Sometimes it goes to Royal Mail, sometimes Parcelforce. I have seen 7 days like 21 … plus we are nearing Xmas and most postal services are getting loaded with parcels. And you have also to take in account you had recent strikes no ?
You have the tracking, once it is in the UK you’ll see it there.
Many thanks. Yes there are strikes in UK by Royal Mail. Pity it doesn’t say on tracking if it has left US rather than a generic statement that it’s currently on transit to the destination. Thanks for your help.
