Sky has been reporting OK for 13 months now but today it reported a wind sensor failed status. This showed in wind readings:
Wind is south-eastern (~160 degrees) with gusts up to 80 km/h. When a fail happened, it changed to north-western direction with gusts up to 110 km/h. My feeling is all wind values simply doubled:
- direction from ~160deg to ~320deg
- avg speed and gusts ~doubled
After few minutes, it returned back to “normal” (what was before) and sensor status cleared OK.
Anyone experienced this before?
Sky is mounted on top of a 6-metre pole which is fixed with steel wires. It has a solar panel.
I’ve contacted @anon84912554 already and am expecting clarification what exactly failed.
