Siting Sky higher vs lower

Just curious about how high people place their Sky off the ground. … do you go for scientific (high as possible) or more practical (at sitting height where the wind actually hits you while sitting on a deck)

Mine is about 10 ft higher than sitting height but I’m tempted to lower my Sky so the wind fetch reflects more actual conditions that I feel.

Trouble is going higher will lead to more tube wobble leading to false rain. Also will effect rain readings. I prefer about 14 feet. Our house is high and not keen on heights so wont be going on the roof.

And prefer it lower as it’s more practical for maintenance and will still need maintaining even with no moving parts spiders will form webs.
