I live in the desert SouthWest. Not much of a chance to test the rain functionality… until last night. We finally got rain and I was watching the number go up on my Tempest. Last night it reported 0.29 inch when the storm ended. Now today I go and look and it says yesterday we had 0.12 inch of rain.
I do not understand. Can someone explain this to me? I checked official sources for this immediate area and they were amounts like .25 and .33, so I believe the 0.29 reported last night was probably accurate.
