just set up my new unit 30 mins ago and it says 78 degrees. Local aviation weather says 86 and all the nearby stations say 81-90. why is it off so much?

Give it a day to settle in…
Wonder why it needs time to settle in … other temperature gauges don’t need that. I live in a valley so maybe it is cooler here .
