depends which part of the world you reside but i get it bulk of purchasing todays is via online through a box shifter and only valid warranty is the purchase reciept. anyway it was just an idea nothing lost nothing gained . and you can resolve that davis sensor issue like i did and some others have. tip call davis might get a pleasant response… have a good day…ps its not unique to davis but talking to the manufacturer does help Humidity calibration corrections
