It would be great if Tempest was linked to local weather alerts, such as winter storm warnings, tornado warnings, storm alerts, etc. All the other weather apps use them, why not Tempest?

It has now been rolled out in the Tempest app for a few months.

I like that NWS alerts are now in the app. Two suggestions:

  1. it would be great if the app allowed for push notifications on NWS alerts when they are released.
  2. some sort of contrasting color on the app dashboard for alerts. They are hard to see at first, especially in dark mode.

Agreed that the push alerts would be a good idea especially with severe alerts.
