Hello WeatherFlow backers. Quick update as of March 10, 2017:
Increased telemetry range: One of the big benefits of re-engineering our weather stations (at the expense of delay) was a dramatic improvement in wireless range. In recent testing, our new AIR & hub maintained a good signal at a distance over 1000 meters ! (3280 feet) in clear line-of-sight conditions (watch this short video).
Field test update: We’re on track to deliver test devices to field testers starting in late March. Our iOS & Android apps are ready for external testing, as are our integrations with Amazon Alexa, IFTTT, Weather Underground and Weather-Display. Plus, all users will have a personal WeatherFlow webpage for anytime, anywhere data access.
Expected delivery: If all goes well with the field testing, our goal is to begin shipping weather stations to all IndieGogo backers beginning in late May. We’ll continue to keep you posted with progress in an open and honest manner.
