My Sky is off-line again for the second year in a row despite the new cold-weather SPA installed last summer. I’m noticing that many with the newer Tempest owners are having problems keeping their units on-line due to the lower solar charging capability in the winter months.
It will be interesting to see if the new power adapter will remedy these problems but I’m of the view that unless it can adequately keep the Tempest powered for an extended period of 4-6 months, it would not be very useful in my situation.
I wonder if there would be a market for an AC powered Tempest?
